Author Views (AV) is a web service that provides authors with a unique opportunity to promote their new book. For free, AV will record, edit and provide a 2-minute copyright-free, web-ready video interview with the author discussing their book. The philosophy behind the video is that giving readers a sneak-peek into the personality of the author, connects them emotionally with the work, increasing interest (and hence sales!). When producing the video, AV attempt to ask the author unusual or different question to help draw out their personality. The author is then free to distribute this video in whatever way they feel is appropriate to gain media or reader exposure.
